New Bottles

 Before I could welcome the return of the light - I had to work through penetrating darkness first. I did this by rewriting the Dylan Thomas Poem - Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. That rewritten poem is on judithjennings.com blogpost titled Do Not Go Gently Into Their Gaslight . From - The Seasonal Soul "The Magical Meaning of Winter Solstice... symbolizes the rebirth of light, renewal, and the promise of new beginnings. The solstice invites us to embrace darkness, release old patterns, and set intentions for growth." Winter Solstice should be a feast -with candles, good food & drink & if appropriate - invitations.  I rang the bell at 4:01 AM on 12/21/24 to acknowledge the start of solstice.  Bell sound  The TRANSFORMATION SPELL Intention: As the moon wanes, I hold space for the decrease in power of those who use the media as a means to spread hatred, lies, misinformation, chaos and confusion. I hold space for the waning of the influence of anyone who reports lies as truth or attempts to discredit facts thereby causing harm to the Earth and it's inhabitants. I hold space for the waning of money-hoarding disease. I hold space for the waning of the pathological need for power. I hold space for the waning of the current epidimic of GASLIGHTING.  And so it begins I had two visual focal points for my new moon ceremony. One - my version of a firestack. It's similar only because there is fire, earth, water & air.  Two was a video on tv of a real magical firestack by Julie Brooks. This is her cairn of rocks that she built with no mortar or anything to keep it together. It's built where the tide will come in. A fire is built in the top of the cairn. There was no blue in the actual video. Some of the flames came out blue in my pictures. Eventually the tide took the cairn & the fire as it was meant to do. It was a beautiful sight. In that energy, under the new moon - I read the reworked spell of Deborah Blake meant to bring about transformation. And I wrote out my intention for this new waxing moon. I hold space for all the changes necessary to keep Earth habitable for future generations. I hold space for the birthing of these changes I hold space in love & light for all these changes. It is so.
